On Friday, July 10, Susan Bertoia’s Commedia dell’Arte Masterclass will perform the culmination of their playful learnings in classic Italian mask and physical theatre at our Famee Furlane hall. See attached for details. Doors and bar open at 5:00pm. Performance at 5:30pm. This is a family friendly event for all ages.

Commedia dell’Arte is the lively form of professional Italian mask theatre that flourished in 15th C Europe and has influenced sitcoms, comedy sketch shows, cartoons and modern-day clowns. Commedia dell’Arte is an actor’s theatre, meaning it empowers the performers to generate the energy and rhythm of the performance in real time, without relying on a script, a director, or elaborate sets. It is typically performed outdoors in streets and piazzas.
